Look what’s all finished! We just got them in and finished so we’re busy little bees packing everything up and getting these extra special packages sent out to you over the next few days. If you are a Patreon Pin Collector Tier during the month of January you will get these soon in your mailbox (both pins & the new lanyard) shortly, you don’t need to do anything special for them.

Also too (we’ve been asked this more than a few times) – yes absolutely you can have multiple accounts here at Patreon (for example if you have several family members who are collectors, or if you just want extra pins and make an account for your pet cat, lol, that is all fine by us). January is a particularly good month since it’s multiple pins & a new lanyard, so it’s a good time to start the year off right =)
In other 2020 Patreon News – as promised (sorry I’m a couple weeks late, the past month I’ve been thrown out of whack with a bunch of medical junk) – but we are in the middle of setting up a new section for the Patron-Only shopping area up at Strangeling.com specifically for original oddities like sketches, lineart, production art, designs for merchandising lines, old sketchbooks and drawings. Probably some weird stuff like concept art for assorted projects, original lineart thumbnails for pins/coloring pages, and finished drawings for paintings that may or may not even exist yet, lol.
Typically these are things I keep in filing cabinets or storage drawers in my home and don’t really “publish” to the public, but as we’ve had a lot of inquiries and interest from folks collecting these types of relics we are going to start popping them up in the Patreon Exclusive section of my website. That way we know that they will be going to homes of collectors and friends rather than to the general public (as opposed to eBay etc.), if that makes sense. I’d rather these goodies go to a good home to someone who would appreciate them as opposed to just having them collect dust in a closet somewhere.
Since it’s the New Year we are sorting/”housekeeping” through a bunch of my personal archives and will be making these items available to Patrons Only at reasonable prices up at my website so please stay tuned – we’re hoping to get the opportunity this week to put a handful of drawings and other stuff up and will be posting the info at Patreon when we know the specifics. As always, with the Patrons Only section of Strangeling.com you only have to have the $1 pledge – it’s more of a gateway/membership issue than a moneymaking issue, lol, and you can always cancel right afterward ;P
Also as a HUGE PS – thank you all so much for your kind words and well-wishes and cards and gifts over the past few weeks, if it were not for you all here I would not be able to do what I do. Thank you also to Patreon for providing a platform of sustainable income for artists, musicians, writers and other creators to at least try to have basic reliable coverage in a system that isn’t conducive to those of us in the creative industries that don’t have access to traditional health benefits. It is a bit of a terrifying thing to start a new year out with knowing I’ve already hit my medical deductibles for 2020 and it’s only a few days in, so I really cannot thank you all enough and my ideas of the inherent good in humanity is validated by people like you. (lol, now I sound like a pledge drive for NPR / PBS, I apologize ;P)
