I’m back home today! I had a chilly trip to Amelia Island over Christmas (a pic of Matty joining me on a rainy walk through the salt marshes there while I take some ). Very socially distant, sort of a lonely Christmas, I missed seeing family again this year =(
Had a lot of nice relaxing time with nature though, and that’s always inspiring. I took a lot of reference photos in the forests, swamps, along the ocean, of trees, plants and a TON of fungus. I think the humid and cold-ish weather here in Florida has been very suitable for mushrooms & lichen, moss & ferns, I’ll be posting some of more of my photos up here at Patreon soon (I’ll be using them in some nature themed paintings coming up).
We’re now back at home in Celebration and frantically getting ready for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts! Officially I start there in person the same day it opens up to the public, January 8, but since we also make & provide a lot of the inventory at some of the tents we really have to get everything finished, dry, packaged & ready several days earlier, so this coming week is gonna be busy busy busy.

We should be all set to do a Twitch broadcast on January 3rd, starting the New Year off right – we’ll be’ll be starting that Sunday at 3PM ET / Noon Pacific / 20:00 UK – and ….. :: drumroll :: we just got the “Painting Pixie” pins in stock in time to get to Pop Gallery’s Tent for the opening date of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts this Friday and they turned out adorable! I’ll be sure to preview them on Twitch (again, this Sunday, watch me at this link here:
