Hey pin people and FL/Disney people! This upcoming 2022 Epcot FOTA at the Pop Gallery Tent will have “At the Easel in Gold” pins as the Strangeling Event Exclusive! With the golden metal plating and pearlescent hard enamel, to celebrate both the Art theme of the Festival as well as Disney World’s GOLDEN 50th anniversary kicking off the same month. Details to follow, probably same policies etc. as in previous years =) Anyway, here’s the concept art!
Since the gold pins obviously cost us more to make, the retail price at Pop Gallery’s tent may be a few dollars higher than non-golden pin years, lol. We’ll keep ya posted as we find out for sure to let collectors know =) The pins will be there all day every day of the Festival and hopefully we’ll have made enough to last through the duration. That being said, ALWAYS plan for earlier rather than later in case we run out, I can’t magically make more.
The pins are only sold in person at Epcot and only during the Festival, and only at the Pop Gallery Tent. If you want one and aren’t able to travel, you’ll still need to somehow get one from a person able to get into Epcot, that’s how the annual Festival Exclusive Event pins work, they aren’t a mail order or a freebie item – I recommend hopping over to the Strangeling Pins trading group on Facebook here ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/strangelingpins/ ) as many Floridians and Disney fans are happy to buy extra pins to trade or resell etc.

And of course at the WonderGround Gallery tent Disney will be debuting “Artist Tink” and “Rapunzel in the Rafters.” I’m told that the original paintings will also debut at this event but I do not know any of the details, very likely I do not find that out until I’m there at Epcot, and that is a week or two after the public finds out, lol. But I’ll try my best to pass any info along and in the meantime stay tuned for some other exciting stuff happening!
