It’s time for me to give away a new original painting, and I’ve decided this time to make it a CUSTOM painting again since it was so much fun last time!
I will choose ONE of you at random at 8:00PM Eastern Time this coming Monday, January 22nd =)
So far the painting l’ve started looks like she does in the photo above. The lucky recipient will then get to tell me how to finish the painting!
They’ll get to choose:
*Haircolour/style
*Eye colour
*Skintone
*Gender (it’s early enough at this stage I could make the features more masculine or feminine)
*Details like makeup/tattoos/jewelry/freckles
*Theming (is it a fairy? Does she have wings? Are they a zombie?)
*Background and other ancillary items (it it underwater? maybe she’s holding a small pet?)
While the character already has the basic features (eyes, face shape, etc.) and can’t really be a specific portrait of somebody, you can always send me photos if you’d like me to match the colouring/appearance/hair/etc. of you or a loved one, to have them Strangeling-ized, hehe. I’m always happy to include specific imagery (in the last one for example the lucky Patron had me paint the character wearing a necklace she owned in real-life, had me match her daughter’s eyes, etc.) – these are a TON of fun for both me and the recipient =)
And yes, they get to keep the actual original acrylic painting and even get to choose one of the picture frames above as well. Many of you may know that I often have a waiting list of 3+ years and a pricelist typically well into the $1000s -$10000s -$for custom artwork, so this is a remarkable opportunity. I’m always happy to ship anywhere in the world.
At or around 8pm EST next Monday I will post the recipient’s name and will contact them privately shortly thereafter to discuss how they’d like the painting to be finished and to confirm their address, etc.
