Forbes article, Patreon PaintCam this Wednesday!

Good morning, Patrons!

Got a couple things to share with you today =)

Firstly – Forbes magazine has posted an article mentioning me & the Rehs Gallery / “Taking Flight” / American Bird Conservancy ARC event next month!  This is the charity event for which I’m painting my “Ode to Heade” piece (the hummingbird painting I was working on up at Twitch previously).

Read it here – https://www.forbes.com/sites/natashagural/2020/09/10/hyperreal-to-otherworldly-new-york-city-gallery-partners-with-american-bird-conservancy-to-reopen-for-socially-distanced-charity-exhibition/?fbclid=IwAR1Hae3m0N5Zmm3J0nOInEMx2L5bwS1DyYQiOM1IV1hMSjWKoRRkAD7fPMU#5f7cfa1f3a43

There’s something about unexpectedly being name-dropped in Forbes of all places that I find inherently hilarious.  I’m used to being more in publications about painting, art, faeries, etc.  The world is a confusing and amazing place sometimes.

We’ve had a lot of folks of course now interested in the “Ode to Heade” piece – the gallery is indexing inquiries for the original painting itself – email:   [email protected]    – if you are interested in the original acrylic painting (again, it’s the hummingbird one I was working on at Twitch, you can catch up on the broadcast here (it’s the most recent one)- https://www.twitch.tv/jasminebecketgriffith

Or if you are interested in securing one of the 5 Masterpiece Limited Editions, email [email protected]  – we may have already reserved them, but are taking backup collector names for the list just in case.

Okay, onto the next news – tomorrow (Wednesday) I’ll be streaming my Patreon PaintCam starting at 3PM EST (NOON Pacific, 20:00 UK Time) via my private Crowdcast channel here – https://www.crowdcast.io/e/strangeling-paintcam-4   – just “Save your spot” to receive the official reminder when I go live tomorrow.

I’ll be most likely working on finishing up “Darling Dragonling VI” – depending on what I get done today.  Sometimes I go through manic painting jags where I might work straight through a night and a day and finish stuff early, and if that’s the case I might work on one of the pieces for my upcoming solo show at the Corey Helford Gallery or perhaps some new mini paintings for the Patreon section of my website – we’ll see!

x
