Last day of January, other updates, Whitby updates, double pin sets & more
I apologize for being so quiet lately, I had some complications from my last procedure and the new meds have been making me sick, so I’ve been pretty much zonked out and lying in bed this past week. I should be well enough to pop out for my two Epcot signings though (tonight, Friday, 6-8PM at the WonderGround Tent, and then tomorrow, Sunday at the Pop Gallery Tent also 6-8PM).
I just realized it’s the last day of January! This means that as long as you have been a Patreon Pin Collector Tier for any part of the month of January you’ll be receiving the “Devilish/Angelic Fairy” double pin set along with the new wide Strangeling lanyard – it’s a great deal, so definitely try to upgrade or sign up for the Pin Collector Tier (it’s the $25 one) before Midnight tonight (Eastern US Time) while it’s still January 31, so you’ll be sure to get them! We’ll have a completely new pin design (called “Fixing a Broken Heart”) starting in February, I’ll be sure to preview that one then.
2020 has been a rough year for me healthwise. Prognosis is good, but I do have to go in for two more surgeries over the next month and I might have to spend a little bit of time in a wheelchair and have some continued treatments which means my travel and mobility might be limited for a time. Effectively too it does mean I won’t be able to attend the Spring Whitby Goth Weekend in person =( Paul from StrangelingUK will be there and we’re trying to sort out a way that we can still do a special pin in my absence =)
UK folks don’t worry, I’ll be doing at least one other event (Avebury Faery Weekend) but it will have to be later on this year.
In art news – we’ll be launching the new “Drawings and Sketches” section in the Patreon Only Shopping area up at Strangeling.com sometime this February, we will definitely keep you posted!
On a personal note I wanted to thank you all so much here at Patreon for your support. While I’ve been sick and laid out, it’s one of the ways we can still keep things running and employees paid, etc. It means a lot to me that so many of you have chosen to be members here, and I promise there are some very exciting things coming up around the corner =)
