Hello from California!
Things are going great with the studio setup here in Long Beach. We had the Spectrum guy out and he was able to hook up the physical aspects of the internet for us, so now I don’t have to rely on my goofy phone’s reception for internet here – yay!
PS – our first live broadcast on Twitch from California will be this Saturday the 26th at 3PM ET/Noon Pacific (ha, that’s me now)/20:00UK time – https://www.twitch.tv/jasminebecketgriffith (or JasmineBecketGriffith on the free Twitch App). This broadcast comes with a huge caveat – it’s sort of a TEST broadcast, the first time we’ll be streaming from the new studio, all different camera equipment and a new broadcasting software. Things might be wonky, it might not work at all, it won’t be perfect. In the event of hiccups, we’ll reschedule for either another CA broadcast or a usual Florida stream once I head back home there in not too long. The kitties aren’t here in CA at the moment but will be joining us soon, you’ll probably see them at both houses on Twitch eventually, lol.
We’ve been working hard on pins, as usual, and I wanted to do a quick roundup showing the upcoming pins. Here’s the lowdown – images are above:

As we do every July, we celebrate the 1997 founding of Strangeling.com as my art website! We thank YOU by putting a little special gift into each package ordered at Strangeling.com – an Exclusive Pin available only at Strangeling.com during that month of July. FREE! It only applies to orders of $25+ (sorry folks, but I gotta cover shipping & material costs at a bare minimum or else I’d dread each anniversary, lol). *”Seven Deadly Sins I & II Mini Metal Pin Sets” are the next two Mini Metal Pin Sets. Each set is limited to 250 sets made, numbered on the decorative postcard backing. The next few months will have Matt & I traveling a lot between studios and at conventions/Renfests/etc. so schedules are constantly in flux and deadlines mutable, but we are planning to release the first of the Seven Deadly Sins sets probably in late July or early August and the second set a month or so after the first. Part of it depends too on whether we hit our next Patreon goal and can line up a new full-time employee to help with pins, lol, as these are quite time intensive for us to put together the sets, packages, mail, so we very much appreciate all of you here! As with all our Limited Edition Mini Metal Pin Sets, these are automatically included as part of the $50 Patreon Pin Collector Tier, so you $50+ folks rest easy, we’ll send yours out right away and you’ll be certain to get the full sets (Set II includes “The Devil” pin, to round out the Seven into an even Eight). Everyone else – we’ll announce the specific time/release date. *Upcoming Event Exclusives!
So far it seems like all the current conventions are “go!” so we’re planning for them! MegaCon Orlando, DragonCon Atlanta, Kansas City Renaissance Festival, Glastonbury Faery Fayre in the UK and also hopefully a Pop Gallery event (still working on that, lol, if it’s not one thing it’s another) would be the planned events that we are committed to/booked at now for 2021. I’ll be showing off these upcoming pins in the interim months, I’m hesitant to announce a lot of specifics as some of these events have already had to be re-scheduled by the promoters/venues multiple times already, but we’re optimistic and I’m designing the pins either way, I’m sure we’ll find good homes for them.

*Kansas City Renaissance Festival – our shop is repaired and in good working order, we’ll be open for business! Amber & Chris will be running the store as always, and I’ll be making personal appearances select weekends for autographing and probably live painting/sketching. We will have a new KCR Festival Exclusive pin for purchase at the booth for the duration of the show season.
*Glastonbury – Avalon Faery Fayre – a Karen Kay Event – UK – I’ll have my booth at Glastonbury! And we’ll have one special event exclusive pin as usual, free with any purchase.
We’re also hoping to line up a Pop Gallery event at Disney Springs in Florida (the current kiosk status and fluctuating restrictions for different parts of the property and other guidelines keep changing) soon this summer – and I ALREADY have a special exclusive pin ready for this event, which would be free with any JBG purchase. Just gotta get a time & date and we’ll make it happen =)
