Hi everybody! I now have the finished “Porcelina” pins to show off =)
Since I wanted to keep the traditional “Blue Willow” pattern without the usual black outlines of my regular enamel pins, she is a different “smooth” metal format “offset” pin. No, I’m not changing how my Strangeling pins look in general, she’s just a special occasion pin since I wanted to give her a more porcelain-looking finish 😉
She’s the Event Exclusive for my solo “Magical Thinking” show at the Corey Helford Gallery opening this July 28 in downtown Los Angeles (event page details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/906056072905726 )
We’ll have 200 pins at the event, the gallery is handing them out to everybody, free, no purchase necessary, limit one per person.
Also too – they gallery has some extra pins they will be giving as a free gift to anybody who purchases an original painting (of any size, including minis) from the show (either in person or via email/phone). If you’d like to receive the “Collector’s Preview” via email shortly before the show opens to the public (ie, if you’d like to reserve a painting before the event) – email [email protected] and they will send you a link or PDF before the show (I do not know exactly what date, usually they do it a couple days before a show opens) so if you’d like to buy an original you can contact them after they have sent the Collector’s Preview. The gallery ships worldwide.
And of course – we’ll have a handful of extras that I will randomly distribute to my Patreon Pin Collector tier!
