Now that we hit my $2000 Patreon Goal last month, Patreon told me I have to make some more goals =) So – I’ve made two!
These are business oriented goals really, more kind of “behind-the scenes” type stuff that will make things run a lot more smoothly around here. We’re already getting closer to the $3000 goal, so let’s cross our fingers – we are actively getting things re-organized to make this one happen, and of course once we hit the goal we’ll share all the details & show the construction, etc. with you Patreon folks 😉 Besides the business aspects of attaining these goals I will for sure celebrate these milestones with some truly fantastic giveaways & perks here at Patreon. With the $2000 goal for example I gave away a custom original painting, so I’ll have to do something equally or even more cool for the next ones……
Wish me luck, and thank you all so much for your support! The Strangeling team consists primarily of eight people now, so every tiny bit goes to help . You guys are awesome! XO Jasmine
$3000 = New printing/framing workshop! Some of you may have heard me talking about how we need to set up a detached separate workshop area to expand our printing and to create a new area specifically for framing & printing. Right now we are doing this in our own home which has been overrun with order processing, shipping & varnishing. This dedicated space would allow my husband Matt to get back his woodworking garage so we can once again make more spectacular original picture frames, triptychs and other unique projects. It will also allow us to get many of the giant boxes and work-stuff out of our personal bedroom & living room, yay! In the end it will make us all happier and you, the collectors & fans, will benefit from seeing more unique framing options in the near future. In addition, we will then be able to upgrade to some larger printers meaning we’ll have wider range of BIG canvases for you & the galleries both!
$5000 = Matt can now hire a full-time assistant! Right now I have several assistants, predominantly family members, mostly in our Kansas location. My husband Matt is my primary assistant – he handles making our limited editions, printing stuff for galleries, stretching canvases, varnishing, order processing & shipping. We are becoming too busy now to have Matt handle this on his own here in Florida and he himself needs to hire a full-time assistant. We are hoping to do this by summer of 2018, and this goal will help make this possible. This will benefit our entire family, will give a hardworking person a full-time job, will shorten our shipping times and increase turnaround for order fulfillment, will give Matt the time he needs to get back to framing and woodworking (instead of spending all day at the Post Office!) and will increase productivity overall. This goal will help make this possible!
