Some of you might have heard me talking about this up at Twitch the other day, I wanted to show off the photoshop mockups for a couple of upcoming pins =)
These are going to be upcoming “Pins of the Month” here at Patreon – anybody who is in the Pin Collector tier (or anybody who upgrades or re-joins or whatever soon) will be receiving these two automatically as part of your membership!
I’m particularly exdcited about both of these, as they incorporate a couple of new metal plating options I’m working with sourcing from the factory. Pretend the photoshop pics above are shiny, lol.
On your left is the “Rainbow Twilight Delight” which will be a type of anodized metal finish instead of the usual black metal I mostly use with our enamel pins. It makes the metal randomly iridescently sort of rainbow hued. Super cool – you’ve probably seen the effect on jewelry or other metallic items before, I’m stoked to incorporate into one of my creations. “Rainbow Twilight Delight” will incorporate some pastel tones of poured soft enamel, with recessed areas & lines (and the back, etc) in the rainbow metal plating and is slated to be the April Pin of the Month.
Very different, but also incorporating a new type of metal (a gold metal plating) with pure white soft enamel, “Venus in Gold.” I’m using the same mold we used for my “Venus” pin, so she’ll be the same size/shape variant as “Venus” but with a combination of matte white pantone enamel and the golden metal. It reminds me of the ceiling ornamentation used in French rococo/baroque plasterwork that incorporates gold leaf, which I dig. She’ll be the May Pin of the Month.
We have other pins on the way too, I’ll keep ya posted, but these are gonna be the April & May Pins of the Month here at Patreon, so keep an eye on your mailboxes if you’re already a Pin Collector, or be sure to renew/upgrade before April and you’ll be certain to receive both of these little beauties =)
