Wow, well – if you were in the infinite queues wanting to catch a mini original painting on the Strangeling website in the Patreon Exclusive section (ie, if you click on the Exclusive Merchandise section) – almost ALL of you hit us in the first five or six seconds.
To be fair, I should have prepared better for this and painted more paintings, but I’ve been in six different states in the past seven days and there are only so many paintings I can paint >__< I do my best, but sometimes these little paintings take almost as long as the bigger paintings (and are more strain on the wrists ;P )
BUT even with the Patreon-Only-Password WooCommerce (the company that runs our shopping cart and the business side of the software on Strangeling.com) apparently thinks that sixty seconds is enough for every customer to make their choices >___<
Which as you, and also me, as a collector & a consumer who likes to snag things early, or collect rare items, etc. Disney (hey!) etc., know that 60 seconds on the internet is a small amount of time to spend actually buying a one-of-kind item or an original painting (um, obviously) –
So for the new Mini Original Painting section of Strangeling.com …… wayyyyyyy toooooo mannnnnyyyyyyyy customers put those original paintings in their shopping carts before checking out and apparently the WooCommerce .
Please do not despair = we’ve been frantically figuring out a way if folks were a tiny bit late-to-the-game (by this we mean two or three seconds = no judgment = you are faster than I am!)
What we are very (computerly, sorry guys~) doing is looking at the timestamps up at WooCommerce to see which ones were technically placed first ;P
If you did try to place an order and were charged via PayPal and were slightly late and didn’t get ANY originals (again, we’re talking about fractions of seconds at this point!) either I or Matty will email you the next time we have mini originals available and will let you specifically peruse the new minis and take your first pick before we show them publicly 😉
